From Roots to Light is an immersive journey through matter, memory, and transformation. Cristiano Scano's works, made of resin and plexiglass, lead the visitor on a sensorial and symbolic experience in which light becomes a guide, a threshold, and a revelation. The material does not simply reflect light: it absorbs it, transforms it, and returns it as a living presence, capable of transforming space and the gaze. The journey stems from a profound sense of belonging and distance. The artist, far from his homeland—Sardinia—for many years, finds in the material an invisible bridge to his origins. The works become astral roots, suspended windows that allow him to maintain a constant dialogue with his beloved island: a dialogue made of light, transparencies, stratifications, and silences. The root is origin and nourishment, but also an impulse to movement, to metamorphosis. From the darkness of the material to the vibration of light, the exhibition opens towards a contemplative dimension. Each work is a gateway, a narrative prism that changes depending on the angle, the intensity of the light, and the time spent in front of it.
